F-Files has ended. As we’ve seen many times in the past, I had an impulse out of left field that was strong enough that I actually sat down and wrote it. I really liked the actual X-Files; some things about it just spoke to me. Just like Judge Dredd did once, and various other things. My passion for RE seems to be eternal. Will X-Files fade in my brain as Judge Dredd and so many others have? We’ll see. Anyway, my VFU stories are definitely shifting into a more structured and plot-driven area. “Come for the smut, stay for the plot,” is probably closed to what I’m aiming for, although I understand that for most readers that does not align with the more common and perfectly legitimate position of: “Come for the smut, then get back to doing other things,” I get that, but I do it for the love of the game and I’m sure my approach will continue to change. And of course, if we’re going to do “Come for the smut,” then the smut needs to be compelling, which is something that I’m still hit or m...

If it feels like the F-Files came out of left field after Blended , that’s fair. It’s definitely an indulgent choice on my part. If you’re not familiar with the show, it’s notable for a few things: great chemistry between the leads, pushing the boundaries of sci-fi/horror on TV back when it was new, and not being afraid to let you wonder. That’s one of the things I like most about it: it’s comfortable being ambiguous. At a glance, it probably looks like we’re hitting the brakes pretty hard after Blended, or swerving away from that level of zany horniness, but the swerve isn’t as big as you think. VFU characters will populate the F-Files, and the horniness will be there too. We won’t know how well the combination of lewd and spooky works until we see how it goes. Historically, this has been a weak area for me, and I’m being intentional about this being an opportunity to do better. For context: I recently released an unusual story in one of the Patreon Twine collections called PICNIC AT BANGING ROCK . To explain it, we have to start at the beginning. I love the Muppets. I especially love it when they do classic literature and stick a bunch of Muppets in there. Over the years, I’ve flirted with trying this as more of the VFU characters have sort of firmed up and become distinct and recognizable. At some point, I started itching to do my own version of this, and we started seeing it with stuff like the SSS where we did the The Thing and Alien vs Futa , but those were all new characters instead of established VFU regulars. The Heat SSS story wasn’t perfect, but I feel like it was a decent early prototype of me trying this. The VFU characters were fine; the story wasn’t the best choice, and I didn’t do a good job building the plot around lewd scenes. I just stuck lewd scenes in there. The shortest explanation possible:  1. I like RE and know a bit about it. 2. I did a weird interactive RE futa story using some characters from my story, Futa Soccer Camp . It was called Resident Futa: Revelations , and there’s a lot that could be written about that. It was a very odd project.  3. There was a commission for a sequel to Resident Futa: Revelations that turned out to be an adaptation of RE2 which continued with the OCs being in Resident Evil alongside the real RE characters.  4. This gave birth to a continuity of Resident Evil game adaptations with some changes to the canon to facilitate lewdness and futa stuff because the name is Resident Futa.  5. I’ve already done 2 and 4 (courtesy of a generous commissioning reader) in addition to the prologue and Requiem. Some of these adaptations are more faithful than others. RF2 is the wildest and deviates the most from the game, which creates all these other ripples that are felt in other RF entries....

  Where to begin? The “Confessions” thing in the latest VFU By Night is based on a real website where people ostensibly post about their experiences. You don't want to hear the convoluted story of how I learned about and then got obsessed with this site, so instead, a big, broad version: I didn’t get to grow up in the 90s, and I didn’t get to experience the early internet, but the history of some of this stuff fascinates me. It shouldn’t surprise anyone that horny stuff relating this subject is doubly good at pulling me in. The site itself is a complicated subject, and while I would never defend it against some of the legitimate questions that could be raised about it, it hits all the right notes for sucking me in. FF1 is ending for real, sort of. I believe 399 is the final chapter, and then there are, I think, 6-7 epilogue chapters, and that’s it. Right at this moment, I’m just assuming that there will be more FF1 . A time jump? A new MC? New team? Or my personal favorite, an MC who isn’t a driver? I don’t know. Lots of ideas, lots of polls for some point in the future. And titles! FF1: 2 Futa, 2 Furious. FF1: Irina Strikes Back. FF1: 2? But after 400+ chapters, it’s time to tie it up and at least let it rest a little. Funny story. Remember how I adjusted HS to make it legit with the whole step-thing? Turns out that’s still not legit. I read the Patreon community guidelines, and if I’m reading that right, even step is not OK. They didn’t seem to notice when they approved my page, but it doesn’t matter—I’m not gonna knowingly break a rule. So I removed HS from the Patreon, and now that I know the rules, I can adjust it again to make it legit. That’s no problem to do, but it will take some time because not only do I need to fix it, but I have to put the edited text back into Twine.  On the bright side, the adjusted version will make room for an additional new lewd scene that I think people will like. First, and most importantly, my mission abroad to look at old-timey porn was a modest success , and I took some pictures that I will post here to show how committed I am to honing lewdcraft. First, HS/Thrill of the Hunt will continue normally through its planned endpoint. We aren’t making any changes to the weekly formula as you know it. But we are going to try HS as a Twine story, which means a whole bunch of things. First, it has to be modified to remove blood relations from the lewdness. This isn’t as radical a change as it sounds like, and it’s simple enough—Lady Charlotte and her daughters are Raf’s stepmother and stepsisters. No big deal. As far as the chapters being posted on CHYOA, for THRILL everything stays as is. For the Twine version, it’ll be the modified Step-Version, and the narrative is adjusted to accommodate it. Surprising no one, it works better that way. Part 1, A DIPLOMATIC MISSION, will get some edits and upgrades and a little extra content. Among the writing sins that I have committed with voting stories has been an unnecessary level of opacity on top of story structure that doesn't suit eroticism and other trappings that make it more difficult for a work to function as smut.  The OG SSS is always going to be the first example of this. One of the issues with that story was that I saw it one way and readers saw it another, and I kept expecting readers to adapt to the story when I needed to adapt the story to them*. From my perspective, as someone who’s basically obsessed with the horror genre and old timey slasher films, to me it was perfectly natural that lots of girls would get killed off. But readers saw the body count as failure on their part, and then there was the problem that while eroticism and bloodshed are often mixed to one degree or another in slasher movies—slasher movies are not smut. Most of them have to do with the story that I intend to follow Futa Formula 1 with when FF1 ends in probably Q1 or Q2 2026. Let me get this out front: if you’re just in it for the daily chapters, you’re good, that part is not changing. There will be a new story, it’ll be futa, there will be votes and it will pause occasionally and something else will run—just like FF1. The overall vibe will be similar to FF1; the story will hopefully be more focused and structured and I intend to learn from some FF1 mistakes like pairing off the protagonist too early, etc—but we are not reinventing the wheel, just trying to do a slightly better one...

I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving. Just a couple small things because there’ll be a bigger blog post after the new year to talk about some of the big dumb things that I have planned. First, ARR will end soon because I believe it’s around 60 chapters long. I hope it’s gratifying for the reader who commissioned it that it’s (as usual) way more popular than my normal stories. I have a number of commissions and stories in reserve that can take its place, but I’m honestly unsure about what the best thing to do is. One of the cool things about ARR was that it was long and ongoing, so it was almost like having two ‘main’ stories. I have some other pretty long ones. I don’t know. Bottom line, expect the unexpected until we get things figured out. The Christmas story this year is 11 chapters long, so if my calculations are correct, we start on 12/13 so that it ends on 12/24. The Halloween Special ate up most of October and paused everything else; I don’t know if that’s a good or popular way to do things. Particularly since it wasn’t the most lewd-dense VFU story. It was light and hopefully not stressful, which is (I think) the direction that readers want SSS to go in. I’m open to feedback, but I’m thinking we’ll make the Xmas Special this year a little shorter. Like, instead of 12 days of Christmas, maybe we do fewer.   Messiness: FF1 is getting toward the Italian Grand Prix. We are entering the final section of the story, but at the rate I’m going, it’s not coming anytime soon. I’ve put a lot of thought, way more thought than is healthy for an e-smut hobby, into what comes next, but since that’s probably a year away, we can worry about that later. For now, FF1 continues as usual. SS: TIE is, in my opinion, going well. It doesn’t lend itself to the best lewd content, but it’s getting crazy, and the nature of the choices it allows really does give the readers the ability to rewrite the movie. If I can balance this kind of structure with better lewd content, I feel like we’ll be close to peak voter story format. As promised, if there’s another SSS, it’ll be fluffier.
