Why am I like this?

For context: I recently released an unusual story in one of the Patreon Twine collections called PICNIC AT BANGING ROCK. To explain it, we have to start at the beginning. I love the Muppets. I especially love it when they do classic literature and stick a bunch of Muppets in there. Over the years, I’ve flirted with trying this as more of the VFU characters have sort of firmed up and become distinct and recognizable. At some point, I started itching to do my own version of this, and we started seeing it with stuff like the SSS where we did the The Thing and Alien vs Futa, but those were all new characters instead of established VFU regulars. The Heat SSS story wasn’t perfect, but I feel like it was a decent early prototype of me trying this. The VFU characters were fine; the story wasn’t the best choice, and I didn’t do a good job building the plot around lewd scenes. I just stuck lewd scenes in there. I think I can do better in the future.

Anyway, there I was, looking for movies to do, and I put up polls where someone voted for ghosts and spooky hauntings. I started doing research to look at ghosty movies, and Picnic at Hanging Rock was one of the things I learned of that way. Which is funny, but I won’t say why because of spoilers. Anyway, I decided to play on hard mode right out of the gate and made that my first attempt. That’s how this title got chosen. It was meant to be one of many “Tapes” attached to Jess and Mary’s ongoing Blockbuster adventures in VFU By Night. This probably would’ve worked OK if it were my main project, but it was like #14 on the priority list, and it was just too big to do it justice that way. So, I wrapped up Picnic and tied off that module for now. I hope that helps explain why such an odd story got written, and I hope it’s a valid standalone yuri outing.

MEANWHILE, doing recognizable IPs with VFU characters is absolutely 100% happening. If it’s unpopular, I’ll course correct, but we’re gonna get in there and try it a bit. We’ll see it in PDFs on Patreon and in dailies on CHYOA. Anything that can go on AO3 will go on AO3. I already have 2 IPs picked out, and I’m hungry for more. What would people enjoy? Jurassic Futa? Futa the 13th? 50 Shades of Futa? Back to the Futa? Top Futa? Uncut Futas? Futas Out? Anyway, Blended is pretty close to ending, and the next thing will be the VFU version of the best TV show of all time*.

*until I get obsessed with something new that becomes the new GOAT; we get a new GOAT every 4-6 weeks around here.

  Messiness: FF1 is getting toward the Italian Grand Prix. We are entering the final section of the story, but at the rate I’m going, it’s not coming anytime soon. I’ve put a lot of thought, way more thought than is healthy for an e-smut hobby, into what comes next, but since that’s probably a year away, we can worry about that later. For now, FF1 continues as usual. SS: TIE is, in my opinion, going well. It doesn’t lend itself to the best lewd content, but it’s getting crazy, and the nature of the choices it allows really does give the readers the ability to rewrite the movie. What is Resident Futa?

The shortest explanation possible:  1. I like RE and know a bit about it. 2. I did a weird interactive RE futa story using some characters from my story, Futa Soccer Camp . It was called Resident Futa: Revelations , and there’s a lot that could be written about that. It was a very odd project.  3. There was a commission for a sequel to Resident Futa: Revelations that turned out to be an adaptation of RE2 which continued with the OCs being in Resident Evil alongside the real RE characters.  4. This gave birth to a continuity of Resident Evil game adaptations with some changes to the canon to facilitate lewdness and futa stuff because the name is Resident Futa.  5. I’ve already done 2 and 4 (courtesy of a generous commissioning reader) in addition to the prologue and Requiem. Some of these adaptations are more faithful than others. RF2 is the wildest and deviates the most from the game, which creates all these other ripples that are felt in other RF entries....

The latest in well-reasoned, meticulously planned things that are definitely not tone deaf and impulsive! In addition to taking commissions, I had two projects planned for this summer: FSCR and some kind of trappy crossdressy yaoi thing. To fully understand what has happened, we must go back 3000 years to when I first started taking commissions. I noticed a pattern back then: there were a lot of commissions about Riley and Kayla, a lot of commissions about Riley and Mary, sometimes a commission about Kayla and Mary, and then a lot more commissions about Riley, Kayla, AND Mary.
