The F-Files

If it feels like the F-Files came out of left field after Blended , that’s fair. It’s definitely an indulgent choice on my part. If you’re not familiar with the show, it’s notable for a few things: great chemistry between the leads, pushing the boundaries of sci-fi/horror on TV back when it was new, and not being afraid to let you wonder. That’s one of the things I like most about it: it’s comfortable being ambiguous. At a glance, it probably looks like we’re hitting the brakes pretty hard after Blended, or swerving away from that level of zany horniness, but the swerve isn’t as big as you think. VFU characters will populate the F-Files, and the horniness will be there too. We won’t know how well the combination of lewd and spooky works until we see how it goes. Historically, this has been a weak area for me, and I’m being intentional about this being an opportunity to do better. I hope you’ll give F-Files a shot, and whether it goes well or not, I expect the next daily to be Blended ...

Why am I like this?

For context: I recently released an unusual story in one of the Patreon Twine collections called PICNIC AT BANGING ROCK . To explain it, we have to start at the beginning. I love the Muppets. I especially love it when they do classic literature and stick a bunch of Muppets in there. Over the years, I’ve flirted with trying this as more of the VFU characters have sort of firmed up and become distinct and recognizable. At some point, I started itching to do my own version of this, and we started seeing it with stuff like the SSS where we did the The Thing and Alien vs Futa , but those were all new characters instead of established VFU regulars. The Heat SSS story wasn’t perfect, but I feel like it was a decent early prototype of me trying this. The VFU characters were fine; the story wasn’t the best choice, and I didn’t do a good job building the plot around lewd scenes. I just stuck lewd scenes in there. What is Resident Futa?

The shortest explanation possible:  1. I like RE and know a bit about it. 2. I did a weird interactive RE futa story using some characters from my story, Futa Soccer Camp . It was called Resident Futa: Revelations , and there’s a lot that could be written about that. It was a very odd project.  3. There was a commission for a sequel to Resident Futa: Revelations that turned out to be an adaptation of RE2 which continued with the OCs being in Resident Evil alongside the real RE characters.  4. This gave birth to a continuity of Resident Evil game adaptations with some changes to the canon to facilitate lewdness and futa stuff because the name is Resident Futa.  5. I’ve already done 2 and 4 (courtesy of a generous commissioning reader) in addition to the prologue and Requiem. Some of these adaptations are more faithful than others. RF2 is the wildest and deviates the most from the game, which creates all these other ripples that are felt in other RF entries....

Confessions!

  Where to begin? The “Confessions” thing in the latest VFU By Night is based on a real website where people ostensibly post about their experiences. You don't want to hear the convoluted story of how I learned about and then got obsessed with this site, so instead, a big, broad version: I didn’t get to grow up in the 90s, and I didn’t get to experience the early internet, but the history of some of this stuff fascinates me. It shouldn’t surprise anyone that horny stuff relating this subject is doubly good at pulling me in. The site itself is a complicated subject, and while I would never defend it against some of the legitimate questions that could be raised about it, it hits all the right notes for sucking me in. That’s why it’s the basis/template for Confessions , which will get renamed at some point. Checkered flag! (And don't give me any of that 'chequered nonsense'! That's obviously made up!

FF1 is ending for real, sort of. I believe 399 is the final chapter, and then there are, I think, 6-7 epilogue chapters, and that’s it. Right at this moment, I’m just assuming that there will be more FF1 . A time jump? A new MC? New team? Or my personal favorite, an MC who isn’t a driver? I don’t know. Lots of ideas, lots of polls for some point in the future. And titles! FF1: 2 Futa, 2 Furious. FF1: Irina Strikes Back. FF1: 2? But after 400+ chapters, it’s time to tie it up and at least let it rest a little. If you want more FF1 in the meantime, there is and will continue to be regular new FF1 lewd stuff on Patreon, which is starting to accumulate some content, but this blog post isn’t about that, so DM me if you want to know about that before you spend the money.  I could also write pages and pages about the development of the FF1 successor HGS and how plans for that have changed over time, but let’s skip to what comes next right now and where you can find it. Mistakes were made!

Funny story. Remember how I adjusted HS to make it legit with the whole step-thing? Turns out that’s still not legit. I read the Patreon community guidelines, and if I’m reading that right, even step is not OK. They didn’t seem to notice when they approved my page, but it doesn’t matter—I’m not gonna knowingly break a rule. So I removed HS from the Patreon, and now that I know the rules, I can adjust it again to make it legit. That’s no problem to do, but it will take some time because not only do I need to fix it, but I have to put the edited text back into Twine.  On the bright side, the adjusted version will make room for an additional new lewd scene that I think people will like. So just kidding! HS Twine Edition is most certainly NOT ready for Patreon. So I understand if people want to hold off on joining up with all these Twine promises still sight unseen. FF1 and Patreon details

First, and most importantly, my mission abroad to look at old-timey porn was a modest success , and I took some pictures that I will post here to show how committed I am to honing lewdcraft. I was almost trampled and smooshed twice by Chinese tourists getting these, so you’re welcome. Turns out I’m the smallest adult around pretty much anywhere in the world. Actual old-timey porn!! Not for kids! Now, the little things: we’re in the home stretch on FF1. When ‘The End’ pops up, there will still be a sort of epilogue, and then of course the door will be open to more epilogue content, sequels, commissions, whatever—but FF1 will no longer be the main daily. I’m guessing that AU/what if? FF1 lewd shorts will pop up occasionally on Patreon. I’ll open up Patreon soon, and it will have 3 exclusive things on it day one, with a lot more planned.
